The UAE's national carrier is now operating a daily nonstop service between Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi and Tashkent International Airport (TAS), connecting Uzbekistan directly to Etihad's broader global network for the first time. From August 9 to September 1, 2026, flight EY830 departs Abu Dhabi at 20:35 local time and arrives in Tashkent at 02:05 the following day, while the return flight, EY831, departs Tashkent at 03:25 and arrives back in Abu Dhabi at 06:55. Both flights operate daily using an Airbus A320. From September 1, 2026, the schedule shifts slightly, with EY830 departing Abu Dhabi later, at 21:20 local time.
The choice of the single-aisle A320 reflects the profile of the route: a medium-haul sector where a narrowbody offers the right balance of capacity and frequency to build a market from scratch. A daily service, rather than a handful of weekly flights, also gives corporate travelers, tourists and those visiting friends and relatives a dependable everyday link between the two cities.
