Air New Zealand launched seasonal nonstop flights between Brisbane and Queenstown on 22 June 2026, reconnecting Queensland with New Zealand's South Island adventure hub.
The service operates three times a week — Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays — through 23 October 2026 using an Airbus A320neo. Flights depart Queenstown at 9:05 a.m. and Brisbane at 11:55 a.m., with a flying time of about three and a half hours.
The carrier is offering more than 17,000 seats across the season, with introductory one-way seat-only fares advertised from NZ$275. The route is timed for mid-year travellers crossing the Tasman between the ski fields of Queenstown and Queensland's beaches.
