In July 2025, Boeing delivered 48 aircraft. That makes last month’s total roughly 10% higher than the same month a year earlier — an indication of the steadily increasing production rates of the Boeing 737 MAX, the company’s best-selling narrowbody.
Month-to-month delivery totals routinely swing for large manufacturers, shaped by the timing of customer acceptances, financing, seasonal factors and the flow of aircraft through final assembly. A single month’s dip is therefore less telling than the longer-term trend, and the year-on-year comparison points upward.
The 737 MAX sits at the heart of Boeing’s commercial recovery. Ramping up its output has been a central goal for the company as it works to clear its substantial order backlog and steady its production system after several difficult years.
Deliveries are a closely watched metric because Boeing collects the bulk of an aircraft’s price when the jet is handed over to the customer, making the monthly hand-over count a key driver of cash flow. Higher, more consistent delivery rates are exactly what the manufacturer and its investors want to see.
With July’s 53 deliveries coming in ahead of the year-ago tally despite the monthly decline, the numbers suggest Boeing’s production momentum — led by the 737 MAX — is continuing to build heading through 2026.
