Italian leisure carrier Neos is set to bring back one of its long-haul-feel seasonal links to the Gulf, with plans to resume the Rome Fiumicino – Dubai al Maktoum route during the Northern winter 2026/27 season. The service returns after a hiatus in the 2025/26 season, reconnecting the Italian capital with Dubai’s second airport.
According to the latest schedule filing, Neos will operate the route with a single weekly rotation running from 19 December 2026 through 13 March 2027. The flights will be flown by the Boeing 737, the workhorse narrowbody that anchors much of the airline’s medium-haul programme.
The outbound leg, NO6060, is scheduled to depart Rome Fiumicino at 23:30 and arrive at Dubai al Maktoum at 08:20 the following morning. The return, NO6061, leaves Dubai al Maktoum at 09:30 and touches down back in Rome at 13:30. The overnight outbound timing is typical of leisure routing, letting passengers arrive in the Gulf at the start of a day.
Dubai al Maktoum (DWC), also known as Dubai World Central, sits southwest of the city and serves as Dubai’s secondary gateway, distinct from the far busier Dubai International (DXB). For a seasonal leisure operator, DWC can offer a straightforward, less congested arrival point.
Neos, part of the Alpitour Group, is a Milan-based carrier that blends charter and scheduled leisure flying, pairing a fleet of Boeing narrowbodies and widebodies to link Italy with holiday destinations across the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean, the Americas and beyond. Seasonal Gulf routing fits its winter-sun and connecting-traffic model.
As always with seasonal filings, the schedule remains subject to change ahead of the winter timetable. For now, the return of the Rome–Dubai al Maktoum service marks another seasonal addition to Neos’ winter 2026/27 network.
