Tianjin Airlines has scheduled a one-time Embraer E195 in place of its usual Airbus A320 on Tianjin-Osaka Kansai, AeroRoutes reported on 31 August 2026, published at 1600 PDT / 2300 GMT. The airline serves the route once a week on Wednesdays. The E195 is listed for 2 September 2026, an A321 for 9 September 2026, and the A320 from 16 September 2026.
The published Wednesday times are GS7977 leaving Tianjin at 12:05 and arriving Kansai at 15:40, and GS7978 leaving Kansai at 17:00 and arriving Tianjin at 19:00. AeroRoutes tagged those samples as mixed equipment on Wednesday. Those are the only flight numbers and times in the 31 August note. This article does not add a second weekly day.
The E195 substitution is described as one-time. The following Wednesday, 9 September 2026, is filed as an A321, then the A320 from 16 September 2026. The item does not say why the E195 appears on 2 September, and no technical cause is inferred. Seat counts and cabin layouts were not published in that snapshot and are not invented here. Usual A320 is AeroRoutes wording for the regular type, not a claim about every historical Wednesday.
The E195 is a two-engine Embraer regional jet with a four-abreast cabin cross-section, distinct from the A320 and A321 single-aisle Airbus types that bookend the September Wednesdays. Kansai is the Osaka airport named; Itami is not in the 31 August Tianjin note. Tianjin is the Chinese origin.
Any illustration with this story is an original scene of an Embraer E195 in Tianjin Airlines colours, not a photograph of GS7977 on 2 September, and it is not a registration. It should not be read as proof that the E195 stays on the route after that date. The A321 on 9 September and the A320 from 16 September are separate lines in the same file.
Passengers booked on the 2 September Wednesday should check the operating aircraft on the ticket. If a later snapshot puts an A320 back on 2 September, that would be a new schedule read, not a contradiction of today's AeroRoutes item. This article does not extend the E195 beyond the one Wednesday AeroRoutes listed.
