JetBlue Puts 200-Seat A321 On Fort Lauderdale-St Maarten

JetBlue has filed a capacity increase on Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood-St. Maarten for the fourth quarter of 2026, putting a 200-seat Airbus A321 on the daily route from 25 October 2026 through 4 January 2027 in place of a 162-seat A320, AeroRoutes reported on 31 August 2026. The item was published at 0500 PDT / 1200 GMT that day from the latest schedule file.

The route remains daily. AeroRoutes focused the published times on 1-16 December 2026: B62761 leaves Fort Lauderdale at 10:00 and arrives St. Maarten at 14:10, and B62762 leaves St. Maarten at 14:30 and arrives Fort Lauderdale at 16:51, both tagged as the 200-seat A321. Those are the only flight numbers and clock times in the 31 August note. This article does not add a second daily trip or convert the A321 window into a year-round assignment.

The 200-seat and 162-seat figures are the capacities AeroRoutes attached to the A321 and A320 on this city pair. The filing does not break out cabin layout, extra-legroom counts, or Mint. Those are not inferred here. The substitution is dated 25 October 2026 to 4 January 2027; the 31 August item does not say what type returns after 4 January 2027, and this article does not guess.

Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and St. Maarten are the only airports named. The story is an equipment change on an existing daily link, not a new route. JetBlue's other Florida or Caribbean files from earlier in 2026 are separate items. The A321 is a stretched single-aisle Airbus with two underwing engines; it is not an A320 and it is not a widebody.

Any illustration with this story is an original scene of an Airbus A321 in JetBlue colours, not a photograph of a particular B62761 departure, and it should not be read as a registration. Slot or gate changes at Fort Lauderdale or Princess Juliana were not part of the 31 August aircraft note.

Travellers booked between late October and early January should check the operating aircraft on the ticket, because a later schedule snapshot can still move the type. If a subsequent file puts the 162-seat A320 back on those December samples, that would be a new read, not a contradiction of today's AeroRoutes snapshot.
