Flair Airlines Adds Weekly Montréal–Puerto Vallarta Flights on the 737 MAX 8 This Winter

Flair Airlines will add a weekly nonstop between Montréal and Puerto Vallarta for winter 2026–27, according to schedule data published by AeroRoutes on 14 October 2026 and winter-sun reporting that confirmed the same city pair earlier the same week.

The first Montréal–Puerto Vallarta flight is listed for 16 December 2026 on a Boeing 737 MAX 8. AeroRoutes shows outbound F82130 leaving Montréal at 09:55 and arriving Puerto Vallarta at 14:25 local time, with the return F82131 departing Puerto Vallarta at 16:10 and reaching Montréal at 22:25, operating on Wednesdays. FareSeeker’s winter-sun roundup, dated 12 October, likewise describes a new weekly Montréal–Puerto Vallarta service from 16 December with launch fares advertised from about C$269 one way before taxes.

The Mexican Pacific route sits alongside Flair’s broader winter leisure push. The same reporting notes new Montréal and Toronto flights to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic from mid-December, plus Flair Vacations packages that bundle flights with resorts in Cancún, Punta Cana, Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Plata and Montego Bay. Puerto Vallarta itself is not new to Flair’s map—the airline already links Canadian cities such as Vancouver and Calgary to the resort—but Montréal–Puerto Vallarta fills a direct winter-sun gap for Quebec travellers who previously connected or flew a different carrier.

Flair’s all-MAX fleet and ultra-low-cost model mean bags, seats and bundles are priced separately, so the headline fare is only the starting point. Still, a single weekly 737 MAX 8 nonstop is a meaningful leisure option on a city pair that has long been dominated by seasonal widebody or connecting itineraries through Toronto or the United States.

For Puerto Vallarta’s hotels and the Banderas Bay tourism economy, another Canadian gateway helps fill midweek inventory between December and March. For Flair, the route extends the airline’s sun strategy after a year of network pruning and growth in Florida and secondary Canadian cities.

Travellers should treat frequencies as schedule filings until Flair locks the full winter sales window; AeroRoutes notes the plan as of mid-October, and winter ULCC schedules can still shift with demand. Passengers who need daily service will still look to Air Canada, WestJet or US carriers with connections. Those who can travel midweek, however, now have a one-stop-shop Flair itinerary from Montréal straight to the Mexican Pacific coast on the 737 MAX 8.

With tickets already circulating in fare trackers and the December 16 launch date published, Montréal–Puerto Vallarta is one of the clearer new Flair leisure lanes for winter 2026–27.

Network context matters. Flair already sells Montréal and Toronto to Cancún and other Caribbean points, and the Puerto Vallarta add from Montréal mirrors winter leisure patterns WestJet and Air Canada have long worked with larger aircraft. A once-weekly MAX 8 will not move the market alone, but it gives price-sensitive Quebec travellers a nonstop option and gives Flair another aircraft utilisation lane during the cold-weather peak.

Booking advice is the usual ULCC caution: check bag fees, seat fees and connection risk if weather or crew issues delay the single weekly frequency. Travellers who need flexibility may still prefer a legacy carrier with daily flying. Those who can lock a Wednesday departure, however, now have a published path from Montréal straight to Puerto Vallarta for the heart of winter 2026–27, backed by both schedule filings and fare-tracker coverage in mid-October.
